Do you recommend the use of the Optional Exchange Table from 1806 in 7 Days, 6 Days of Glory, or The Last Days of the Grand Army? If so, are there any modifiers to Unit Initiatives for its use in 1806?
Getting ready to play 7 Days in a couple of weeks. Had a gaming partner of mine who doesn't do much Napoleonic gaming take a look at the components and now he is on fire to play ;)

That's very good to hear!
The table can be used but, for example in 1806, the Initiative ratings of some units have to be modified. Sometimes Initiative has to do more with movement than with combat. Guard units have a low initiative in 1806 because that shows their reluctance to move without being commanded to. Yet, they should have high initiative for the optional table you mentioned. So, use with your own judgement.
Initiative conversions for 1806
The following modifiers apply to the Initiative Ratings printed on the 1806 unit counters (only) when using the optional Exchange table.
Prussian Infantry -1 Initiative
Saxon Infantry -2 Initiative
French Guard Infantry +2 Initiative
All Other Units (No Modifier)

I misspoke! Would you recommend any modifiers to initiatives for games other than 1806?

None for Last Days of the Grande Armee. For Six Days of Glory yes, to include the Guard Modifiers.
