Kevin
a recent rule says that a force which try to repulse during force march and doesn't succeed, stops and losses 1 SP. You add that there won't be follow on battle during battle resolution.
I understand that its in order to prevent non phasing player to force phasing player to attack a new force, dispersing its effort.
But in the case phasing player consider that this enemy force needs to be attacked, why not allowing it to do
I konw you are very liberal with your rules but I wish just to understand your thinking
thanks

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your question. Traditionally it is good to start with a citation of the rule in question. Would you type it in here? Thanks...

Can some one point to where this recent rule was posted? It is important for me to have the full citation before trying to answer.

I thnik Daniel ask about this:

"In a failed Repulse during the Forced March Phase the force in motion loses one SP, gets no specific information about the enemy and its Force March ends immediately. The attempting force must stop moving, remaining adjacent to the enemy. There will be no follow-on combat with this force."

Nico-

Thank you. I now understand the original question.

"There will be no follow-on combat with this force."

There will be no change in the rules. The reason is, that you cannot allow one player to obey the rules only when it is to his benefit. If you do that consistently, the whole game will go out of balance.

The cardinal rule of design is: Every benefit that you give must also have some down-side.
