Does the pursuit modifier for an exclusively guard force apply to the Russian and Prussian guard units?

Must named leaders control their own units?

The bonus is only for the French Old Guard, or for a French force with Old and Young Guard. Yes, leaders must always have the combat units with their same name on their track if in play.
