Hello,
I've finished playing the first battle, I did my best to folllow the rules.
What surprised me, is that there wasn't single unit eliminated, only retreats result. The French won by only 1 vp. The sole explanation I have for this is that the first half of the day was "rain" and the rest "Thunderstorm", so it was difficult to manoeuvre with artillery and make bombardment(no LOS). Is that a normal outcome for a battle, no unit losses?

I forget to say that the finals VPs are -6 for the French and 1 for the Allies. This includes the cards VPs.

That is an unusual outcome. Normally the battle includes lots of units lost. But your outcome is not unhistorical. The French in this battle lost only a few thousand men.

Hello,
I restarted the same scenario and this time I managed to destroy the entire IV corps of Tauentzn in the north while the IV corps of Bertrand 80%decimated. This was due to partly "shock" results and failed risks untarken by both sides.
In the south, there wasn't too much action partly because of the many failed initiative test by Reynier and because of the Late Star* of Bulow. Oudinot never made it his way to the battle because the reinforcement was cancelled. Eventually, Reynier was able to take his entire corps and push away the Prussian unit stationed in Grossebeen. I guess that would be probably impossible if more units of the coalition were able to reach Grossbeereen. As a result, the French won a tactical victory.

Agreed.
Thanks for the AAR Marshall.
Grossbeeren can be a rather tough fight for both sides.
