I have received "All is last Save the Honour", and I have seen the battle system, with more details that the battle system in CNS, Why?, there is no optional system for the battles for CNS, with modifiers for moral, artillery type, training in cavalry and infantry, general abilities...
any idea??
very much thank you .

My feeling is that the battles in ALSH were fairly rare and rather formal affairs. And Niko came up with a rather elegant system to portray it.
Another point would be that OSG tends to focus on the level of ops portrayed--as an operational game, fighting out a battle with a pseudo-tactical system would be an inappropriate focus.
My two cents :)

I agree on both points. Napoleonic campaigns tend to be more operational in nature, due to a major number of mobile forces interacting on a theatre; that's where NaB games focus, in my opinion...
