I'm reading through the rules and have a few questions. As more come up, I'll update the thread. Sorry if these have been asked already.

1) Stacking. Rules say that up to three units of one division (or Rs corps) may stack in a hex when no leader is present. Rules then say up to [two] infantry, plus etc etc, when a leader is present.

Is the bracketing supposed to indicate that the two becomes three if the inf are all of the same division/Rs corps?

2) Hidden Forces. 1.51 says that a hidden force is revealed ... and then the first four points (1 through 4) say when. The fifth point though says that units in clear have an LOS limited to three hexes, treated like an artillery units LOS.

Does that mean that units in clear also reveal Hidden Forces when within three? It doesn't explicitly say so like the other four points, and it doesn't say when, like the other four points. Same as 4?

Yes - at the beginning of the Combat Phase.

I am convinced that the 8th division was already near the battlefield on the night of August 25th, and that it never left on the march for Haynau like the other divisions in III Corps. Souham had just been promoted to Corps Officer of III Corps and knew that his division would be crossing the Katzbach. Reports of Prussian scouts confirm the division occupied Rothkirch that night. By allowing the 8th division reinforcement status it gets an automatic move on the first turn (because Souham knew the plan for the coming battle).
You can read more about the crossing of Souham's Div. at Dohmau on p. 52 of Special Study Nr. 1.

Change in set-up for Souham's 8th Division:
8th Division (Brayer, Charriere, and 2nd-9th arty.) enters at Rothkirch (0902) at 10.00.

Should be, but there are a lot of rules in common so the two are related.
