Delays were long but we hope to get the next one through the press more smoothly. We had a lot of fiile transfer and .pdf problems. Think we will skip the .pdf stage next time.
Books should start arriving in Europe this week. Post here if you have any comments, suggestions, questions.
On Appendix 5.
The table on page 77 shows 273,600 Allied troops, those actually on the battlefield.
The figure on the next page shows 321,000 including forces along the Elbe such as Ostermann and Tauentzien.
Confusion arises in that many sources cite a figure around 321,000 as the total strength of the armies AT Leipzig, but in fact this is the strength of the three armies AT THE TIME OF Leipzig. It includes detached forces.
The table "Army of Bohemia at Leipzig" shows the difference between the army at the time of Leipzig (172,000) and actually in the battle (137,000).

Kevin,
I forgot to thank you for this very nice little booklet of yours. All the information put together into ONE booklet is like a little gem, really!
Also it provided all the "side-informations" for your 1813-Campaigns in Germany Games (FLB and NatC). A VERY helpful book. In Germany a series of booklets have been published since 2004 about the "War for Liberation" as the Prussian king Friedrich III. named the Campaign lateron. These booklets show in more detail just the same rational and the same approach as you came up with in this Special Study.
So I have to thank you in the name of all interested War-Gamers and-Historians (at least the ones thinking they are!) ;)
Cheers
Andy (521tiger) :)

Thanks for your kind remarks about the book. We found out that this campaign hasn't been exhaustively mined, in terms of historiography. We don't know many basics of the who-went-where variety. That is why I am interested to know if you can provide a link to the website for these German publications about 1813?
