I apologize if this seems like a simple question, but if artillery strength is less than 1SP (ie. .8 or 800) do you use the "1" column on the Artillery Fire Table or do you treat the situation as not having any artillery at all. I am assuming you use the "1" column, but I wanted to make sure. Thank you.

I guess I'm interested how you got a fractional artillery SP. Artillery isn't counted in a battle, except to use its SPs to bombard--there should be no rounding.

I was referring to the bombardment phase. The table starts at 1.

I now realize that my question probably doesn't make very much sense. I had misinterpreted a part of the rules. Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks! I've been orienting myself to the rules by playing the scenarios in Bonaparte in Italy. I am looking forward to tackling campaign rules in that set and the other games as well.
