Questions of rules

Hello, I been reading the rules and I have doubts:
1-The artillery with less than one point of force can bombard?
On the card of mode Secure Column:
2-Secure column refer to the complete formation?
3-If there is not vendettes in the formation is it applied same?
On the mode card of Road march:
4-What is a complete formation or one stack/unit?

Hi Adolfo,

I'll try and answer your questions:

1) No, artillery has to have at least 1 point to bombard. It is a fairly linear table, however, so you might allow 1/2 point artillery to bombard a target that is being charged, doing a Dr on a '6'.

2) Yes, a force must be defined as a complete formation, if possible.

3) If there are no vedettes with the formation, that is fine--having vedettes isn't a condition for playing the card. The card just gives vedettes the function of being deployed to scout and screen for the force. See 18.54 and 18.58.

4) The Road March Mode card applies to one force. Forces and which to choose are defined in 18.55 and 18.56. Generally, you'll be choosing a formation if one is eligible, rather than just a single stack. 18.54 has some guides on redploying for Road March.
