SEVEN DAYS OF 1809
In French, the more you "adhere" the game, the better the game! And this one is pretty high-ranked: up to the last turn you are not sure where the advantage is. On one turn the French is thinking to retreat, and the next turn, the Austrian does the same. I usually rank a game by the amount of fun, and this one is very high. Both armies are quite used up after a few days, which sounds historical. —Didier Rouy

NAPOLEON AT THE CROSSROADS
NaC is centered on the problems of maintenance of the lines of communication. The French player can win only by preventing the concentration of the opposing armies, but for that he is obliged to disperse his forces, which endangers them given the weakness of some of the Marshals. —Frédéric Bey

THE HABIT OF VICTORY
While HoV uses the Series 2X rules from NaC, it also uses two decks of cards to assist the flow of the game and provide a nice layer of chrome with no cost in playability. When a Movement Command is issued via card play, the player may choose to additionally trigger the event. The cards greatly streamline movement and attrition. The order acceptance mechanic adds uncertainty and tension. All this makes for a very clever and playable design. Habit of Victory has given me many hours of enjoyment. —Joel Toppen

FOUR LOST BATTLES
Introduces cards that create a thrilling narrative and make the battles more than just an exercise in predictable battlefield management while awaiting rigid numbers of reinforcements. Instead you get a level of simulated battlefield chaos that is at once full of flavor and a bucket of fun. —Sean Gittes

NAPOLEONIC TOUR TO ITALY
May 2010
Dates To Be Announced.* Plan to join Kevin Zucker and an international group of Napoleonic enthusiasts to the major battles and smaller combats; including Castiglione, Rivoli, Arcole, Bassano and the fortress towns of Mantova, Verona, Peschiera and Legnago, Lake Garda, the Dolomite Mountains, etc. • Travel the route of Bonaparte's conquering armies as they drove the Austrians back from the Po valley and into the foothills of the Alps.

Follow in the footsteps of the armies, through towns filled with reminders of a bygone age, past forests and streams, old inns and churches standing just as they were in 1796. Travel at a comfortable pace, taking time to explore along the way. Meet local historians and enthusiasts who are familiar with the terrain and conversant with details concerning their locality which are often not recorded in the history books. Enjoy home-cooked specialties of the region.

To help you follow the action read Mr. Zucker's history of the campaign http://www.napoleongames.com/italian_campaign.html.

Without a doubt, the Italian Campaign was one of Napoleon's finest. A lesson to strategists, it gave the first sign of the brilliant career which lay before him. Join us on this tour to the Napoleonic Age.

Watch for future announcements at Napoleongames.com!
