Time:1430 hrs., February 9,1814
Place: The road north of Sezanne
Napoleon has decided on a bold move northward against the advancing Prussian
Army, and the movement commands have already filtered down to the front line
forces. Fifty-man patrols of cavalry vedettes from Doumerc's I Cavalry Corps
are screening the countryside for any signs of the enemy, especially the dreaded
Cossacks with their long lances. But on this occasion, the Cossacks are off
their guard and oblivious to the storm approaching. Napoleon at Bay gives
you the vedettes, to conceal friendly forces and find enemy concentrations. |

NAPOLEON AT BAY
DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION |
This is a collector's
edition of OSG's classic flagship design. When we printed the game
in May of 1997 we had 200 copies set-aside for special, 'Deluxe'
treatment. We had the box wraps embossed with the words 'Deluxe
Edition' on the front of each box in gold leaf. We printed 200
copies of the two rules booklets on long-lasting acid-free parchment
text. At the same time the 11 set-up displays were printed on
heavy-weight 60 lb. cardstock. The maps and counters in the Deluxe
edition are the same high quality as the main edition. Each Deluxe
copy was signed and numbered by the designer. Limited to 200 copies. |
